5” BABY DOLL
This sweet Babydoll was made by Shackman & is marked ©BSCO on chest. Doll is made of bisque porcelain & carefully hand-painted with reddish blonde (molded) hair, blue eyes, pink lips & blushed cheeks.
Probably designed as a baby boy as the long satiny nightshirt has blue silky string gathering the lace around the neck & sleeves with a blue bow at each cuff. Gown has one snap at the neck & is made with attached slip & panty so we are not sure how easily it can be removed. The gown is off-white (not as yellowish as it looks in our pictures).
Baby measures just over 5” long & body is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or missing paint. Panties need to be reattached (at one end) & gown needs a little cleaning but we will leave that to the buyer.
This sweet little doll will make a precious display piece or a wonderful addition to a Shackman, Miniature or Strung Doll Collection!
