Vintage K & R Simon and Halbig 21" Porcelain Bisque Doll Composition Jointed

Description

This is a vintage possibly late 1800's to early 1900's (not sure the year made) all porcelain bisque female doll. She has the engraved makers mark on the back of her head. Her wig hair lifts to show the markings. K & R  Simon and Halbig. See photos 11 & 12. She is 21" long X 8 1/2" wide across arm to arm. She is composition stretch band jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, legs, and knees. All joints can swivel, twist, and turn. She has a striped pink and white outfit, white underpants, tan/yellow color socks, and white baby shoes. Her hair is brown with reddish tint. On each inside knee joint the porcelain bisque is chipped see 10th photo. (The other one looks the same I just took 1 photo). This does not affect the performance of the knee joints. It does not affect the way the knees look on the outside either. Very nice doll for the collector, this porcelain is on the heavier side. I do not believe this outfit would have been the original.
