Upon inspection of the device,
I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use.
All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition.
There are minor scratches on the screen.
I was able to power on the device using the included power supply.
I was also able to power on the device using 4 in-house AA batteries (not included).
The display works as it should.
I was able to connect the included Thermo Scientific pH probe to the device.
When I attempted to read the pH from a water bottle, I noticed that the pH level was off so it appears that the calibration is off. I am unable to calibrate this device.
I was able to test the internal speaker working
I was able to test the Measure, Up, Down, Digits, Line Select, Setup and View Log buttons to be working but I was unable to test if the Stir On/Off button is working since I do not have a compatible stirrer.
No further testing could be completed due to lack of knowledge and/or resources.
The device is sold as is for parts, repair or as a partially working item.
No AA batteries are included.
